Li Shangyin

Li Shangyin
Li Shangyin (812 - 858) was one of the most well-known poets of the late Tang Dynasty.

Wang Anshi, living between 1021 and 1086, is a statesman, ideologist and litterateur in Northern Song Dynasty.

During the reign of Emperor Shenzong of Song dynasty, Wang Anshi advocated political reform and put forward the policy of enriching the country and building up the military power. Due to the hindrance of the conservation force, the new reforming policy was ended in nothing and he was deposed.

The remnants of the Collected Works of Linchuan and Linchuan Jishiyi, two of Wang Anshi's works, are handed now to the present.
