Built near the city wall, the watercourse is a channel through which water flows. The Site of Zhongdu Watercourse, a building of the Jurchen Jin Dynasty, is located outside You'anmen of Beijing.

It is a wood and stone structure facing due south. Its part above the ground has been destroyed and only the base remains. The remaining site is 43.4 meters long. The culvert is 2135 meters long and 7.7 meters wide.
